I’m a mother and I get nasty comments about my body, now trolls have another complaint
A WOMAN has responded to nasty internet trolls who have something to say about her body.
Chessie King revealed that three years after giving birth, she finally felt confident about her body, despite what internet users claimed.
The 31-year-old lives in London and is known as an advocate for positive body image, promoting all body shapes.
Since Rae was born, Chessie has been attacked by nasty trolls about her curvier body shape.
Now that Chessie is talking about her new fitness routine to feel better, it looks like the haters have even more complaints about her.
Chessie shares how frustrating this is: “I’ve had some really nasty comments about my body over the last few days, all from women. I’ve been thinking about whether it’s worth the airtime or whether I should just keep my mouth shut, but it makes me angry.

“If I were to advertise ‘six weeks of summer weight loss’ or ‘let your bikini body shine’, I would be giving you permission to hate me.
“But guess what, I’m a mother, three years postpartum, who has found her *strength* again. After a small “I had a stroke eight years ago and have a heart condition that has limited me in so many ways since then, including the c-section and the recovery from that. Now I finally feel like I am in control of my health.”
Chessie has been posting body positivity content for eight years to help others feel more confident. However, she says that doesn’t have to be the case with all of her posts, and we agree.
For someone who has been supporting women on social media for almost a decade, it makes sense that she would receive the same love in return.
She added: “Yes, I feel a huge responsibility to get my message across, but I didn’t feel the need to repeat what I’ve been talking about for almost a decade in every post that shows my body.
“Not every post needs to come with the warning that ‘this is also my body when I’m hunched over’ or ‘here you see it in an ‘unflattering’ light.’ I’ve shown it before.”
She added that she was finally happy with her body and hoped people would stop with their negative comments.
She added: “There may be some of you who prefer me at a certain size and I appreciate that, but I prefer myself when I’m functioning well and I can keep up with my fast-paced toddler…
“When I was at my smallest I was told I was ‘too big’ and ‘carrying too much weight’, when I was at my biggest I was told ‘I need to be half my size or no one would ever want to work with me’. It just goes to show that it really has nothing to do with how you look, it has everything to do with the person making the comments.
“I didn’t think I’d still be talking about body shaming years later, but I am.”
