How to greet each other
Bond shared his first sign of how to spot a faltering relationship. He said that the way a couple greets each other is a big clue to how their relationship is going.
Speak with The sunhe said, “If you don’t greet each other warmly and hospitably, but start complaining or criticizing, it suggests that there are problems in the relationship.”
He went on to note that actions with a venomous or malicious undertone, such as rolling your eyes, can also raise alarm bells when it comes to observing the happiness in a couple’s relationship.
The state of your verbal communication
Private investigator Aaron then explained that the state of a couple’s verbal communication – and their vocabulary – is crucial.
He noted that frequently using extremes to accuse your partner when he or she has done something wrong — whether accidentally or not — indicates that your relationship is on the rocks.
Aaron noted, “If you or your partner uses terms like “always, always, never, no one, nobody, and ever,” for example, “why do you always burn our food, can you really do nothing right?”
How to deal with arguments
His final way of unraveling the harmony of a romance is by looking at how a couple deals with an argument.
Arguments are inevitable in any relationship, but they can be more difficult to deal with if you and your partner have had a fight.
While some discussions can be resolved quickly, others require more time to think about before they can be concluded.

Aaron said that it’s healthy to avoid confrontation every now and then, but if you consistently refuse to address an issue regarding a disagreement, it’s a sign that the relationship isn’t healthy.
He noted, “This can range from avoiding eye contact, giving short, snappy answers, to completely ignoring the other person, sometimes for days.
‘It may be normal to contradict yourself sometimes when someone is feeling overwhelmed, but constant contradiction is damaging to a relationship because it prevents problems from being resolved.
‘This creates emotional distance between partners and can leave both parties feeling lonely and isolated.’
