One woman, however, had developed her own perfect hygiene routine to stay smelling fresh.

Reddit user Snoty drink revealed the sordid details in a comment on the social media platform.
She gave this advice in response to another woman’s question about preventing body odor during the summer.
The Redditor advised against using soaps with purifying properties.
“I use castile soap on my armpits and rub it in for about five minutes on each side to get all the gunk out, lol,” she said.
THE ROUTINE
Patience is the key word in her routine, starting with the castile soap.
“Keep rinsing your underarms and repeating the process until your fingers only smell like soap, and not like soap and underarms,” she said.
“Also dry your armpits well after showering.”
She advised against using deodorant for men to combat unpleasant odors.
“They seem to work because they are for men, but don’t be so easily fooled,” she said.
She recommended the specific deodorant she uses to stay clean.
“Now I use Dr. Teal deodorant,” she said.
“It’s drier and I think it helps with moisture wicking. It’s also aluminum free, which is great.”
