I’m a traveler – I make people wash their feet with bleach before they go in

An Irish traveller has revealed the strict rules you have to adhere to if you want to enter her caravan.

Curly-haired Zoey took to TikTok to explain what her guests should do when they enter her home, including making sure their feet are completely clean.

According to the young woman, dirty feet are one of the few things she doesn’t allow in her caravan, which is why guests have to take drastic measures to keep their feet clean.

When you arrive, Zoey will ask you to remove your shoes and socks. Then you will go back outside, where a bucket of bleach will be waiting for you.

“Wash your feet before you enter my trailer and then you have to wash your hands with bleach,” she claimed in the video.

It is not recommended to wash body parts with diluted bleach.

Once you get her permission to go back in, you can no longer relax on the couches or beds, the Irish traveler said.

“You have to sit on the floor,” Zoey explained. She was afraid the guests would “dirty” the furniture.

Hungry? There’s no food or drink in her trailer either – even if it’s raining and you’re hungry, Zoey expects you to go outside and enjoy your snack.

”You are not allowed to eat in my caravan, you are not allowed to drink and even if it rains you have to stay under the umbrella and eat your food.

As the pretty lady, who also doesn’t cook at home, explains, it all has to do with the smell of the food that lingers afterwards.

It is not the first time that the young woman has given an insight into her life as a traveller. She recently listed the things that girls in her community are not allowed to do.

Some of these measures include a ban on alcohol until they are married and no sleepovers with people who were not riding with them.

I bought a small caravan for £2k, this is how it went

There is also a smoking ban until the woman ties the knot, but Zoey admitted that despite being married, she doesn’t smoke because she finds it a “disgusting” habit.

The Irish Traveler – who posts under the username @zoey_pon – also claimed that she was not allowed to associate with people outside her community.

“You can hang out with them at school, but not outside of school,” she explained the rules.

She also never asked her parents’ permission to have a sleepover with someone who wasn’t traveling, because that “would never happen in a million years.”

The young woman, who reportedly dropped out of school at the age of 13, also believed that studying had no “point.”

Is it safe to use diluted bleach on skin?

The NHS provides advice on the use of bleach baths specifically for eczema.

It says: “The skin can benefit from the antiseptic effect of a bleach bath (similar to chlorine in a swimming pool).”

But there are strict rules for how to make a bleach bath, and how long you should stay in it. Read more here.

Warnings:

  • Do not use undiluted bleach directly on the skin. If this does happen, rinse it off immediately with plenty of tap water.
  • Make sure that no diluted bleach gets into your child’s eyes or into your own eyes.
  • Do not swallow diluted bleach
  • Discard or drain any unused bleach or bleach water immediately after each use.
  • Keep the bleach bottle out of reach of children.
  • Do not use bleach baths if you have a known contact allergy to chlorine.
  • Do not add bleach to a very hot bath as this may cause fumes.
  • Bleach can make the bath slippery, so be careful.
  • Bleach can bleach clothes and towels, so avoid contact with your favorite clothes and use white towels if possible.

“Because as a traveler you will never be able to find a job.”

More than 400 people commented on the clip, which has now been viewed more than 600,000 times on her page.

People wondered, “How can you live as if it were a home?”

Another laughed: “The best way to make sure you [have] ”no visitors.”

“Why do people ask you questions? It’s how you live and it’s your own life.” [your] “Caravan,” someone else threw at the haters.
