Trends that interior designers hate

If you want to make your home look glamorous, here are the trends that interior designers can’t resist.

NO YELLOW: According to Bilal Rehman, yellow paint in a bedroom is a big no.

UNSUBSCRIBE: Kelly Hoppen shared her honest thoughts on Live, Love, Laugh signs.

The interior design professional explained: “Another negative of mine: Live, Laugh, Love – those kind of wooden things that are on bookshelves and floating shelves, that’s like 10, 12, 15 years ago.”

NO GRAY YES: Julie Provenzano explained that gray interiors are overdone.

She emphasized, “We took something good and we exaggerated it so much that it now feels copy-pasted and basic.”

Curtains that do not reach the floor

Finally, Brooke shared her thoughts on curtains and explained why long curtains are the best solution.

She claimed that short curtains “make the room feel so much tighter and the ceiling feels so much shorter.”

That’s why she advised: “Get curtains that touch the floor, this adds interest to the room and extends your ceilings.

“Trust me on this.”
