According to the foodie, who proudly calls himself a “yellow sticker addict,” there are certain times when the popular retailer drops the prices of some of their treats.

One of his more recent videos saw the money smart MADAM fan reveals how he packages his signature sandwiches on the cheap — and it turns out it all comes down to hitting the store at the right time.

“I love the yellow stickers from M&S. Of course I know that the sandwiches are reduced in price from 5pm.”

Looking for more cheap snacks? According to the M&S superfan, he also swears by something called the “snatch and grab” method.

This means that if Chaz sees another customer looking at the same item he wants to buy, he won’t waste any time and will grab the bargain right from under their noses.

The budget-conscious shopper not only negotiated with staff for extra discounts, but also showed other M&S fans when they could get their hands on the cheapest products.

According to the Instagram user, who has more than 3,000 followers, you should head to the supermarket an hour before closing time, as prices can rise even further as it gets later.

In some cases, Chaz also tries to hypnotise the M&S ‘yellow sticker ladies’ into offering them better deals.

“Well, it’s worth a try,” he joked in the video.

Many people admitted in the comments that they are also addicted to the yellow stickers. In many comments it sounded: ‘me too’.

However, it wasn’t all positive: one person revealed the dark side of the obsession with the yellow stickers.

The viewer told others about an incident they had witnessed: “Just today I had to tell a woman in M&S off for harassing a poor employee, following him around the store and snatching items from his hands before he could put them back on the shelves. Some people are going absolutely mad.”

Another shared a similar experience, writing: “I used to do the yellow stickers. Had 2 types of addicts.

How to Reduce Your Grocery Costs

SAVING on your shopping can make a big difference to your wallet. Here are some tips from comparison site Money.co.uk on how to reduce the cost of your shopping bills:

  • Write a list for yourself – Only buy items you need. If it’s not on your list, don’t put it in your cart.
  • Make a budget – Make a weekly budget for your groceries
  • Never go shopping hungry – you are much more likely to buy more food if your stomach is rumbling
  • Don’t buy pre-cut vegetables or fruit – The extra fees they charge for chopping can be staggering
  • Use social media – follow your favorite retailers to stay up to date with the latest offers
  • Be unfaithful – You may want to go to several stores to find the best bargains
  • Check the fine print – It is always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so that you make an equal decision, as a larger box does not necessarily mean you get more
  • Use your customer cards – Don’t be afraid to sign up for them all. They all work a little differently – think about which bonus suits you best and don’t forget to exchange your points for extra rewards

”The vultures that hung around the staff doors and stared through the glass while you were working, only to attack you as soon as you came out with stickers, and the piranhas that would snatch things out of your hands before you had even put the sticker on and then get angry because the sticker wasn’t as low as they wanted.

“These people are crazy.”

Meanwhile, another customer shared her top tips for getting the best deals at competitor Tesco.

They said: “As someone who lived on top of a 24 hour Tesco supermarket for 3 years.

“The best time for stickers is around 4:30pm and then again between 9:30pm and 10:30pm. Sometimes midnight is a good time too.”
