A WOMAN who was in a relationship with a man old enough to be her grandfather has defended their controversial relationship.
Anica Lazić, 32, has been criticised after sharing photos of herself sunbathing on holiday with her 71-year-old lover, Lazar Ristovski.

Anica and Lazar have been together for two years, but their relationship continues to amaze.
Anica, a psychology graduate and actress, even had to disable comments on her Instagram profile.
She did this after much criticism was raised over their unconventional romance.
Trolls even claimed that her feelings for Lazar were “not real love.”

Like Anica, Lazar is a famous actor in his native Serbia.
He has appeared in nearly 100 films, including a small role in the James Bond thriller ‘Casino Royale’ in 2006.
Their age difference is causing a stir in their hometown of Serbia, but also on social media.
But Anica is not influenced by the opinions of strangers.
She recently said of her elderly friend, “Lazarus means ‘God helps.’
“It is believed that a man by that name was sent by God to help the earth.
“I know it is so.”
She continued: “You are a winner, a benefactor, our greatest artist.
“A protector, an optimist, a patriot, someone who is bold and brave, and a great friend.”
In March of this year, Anica shared a photo of herself walking hand in hand with Lazar out of the sea in the Maldives.
The lovebird called it one of her favorite photos of them together.
She wrote: “If he leads, I don’t ask where.”
