A WOMAN who has had 13 plastic operations explains why she has now undergone a second BBL.

She underwent the surgeries in Istanbul, Turkey, but was bombarded with questions about why she had another Brazilian butt lift, so she responded in another video.
Scarlet explained that her surgery started as a ‘corrective’ to get rid of her loose skin after she lost 13 stones, saying: ‘I’ve had an arm lift, a thigh lift and a periareola.
“I’ve had three breast corrections, I’ve had an extensive tummy tuck. I’ve had muscle recovery, then I had a lower body lift, so a butt lift.

“To achieve the desired look you will normally need two BBLs as much of the fat that is re-injected into your butt actually dies by 50%, sometimes even more.
“It’s different for everyone.”
Despite this, Scarlet said she was very happy with the ‘before and after’ of the first BBL, which she said focused on ‘the shape of my bum’.
“With this one we focused on lifting it and adding volume to it,” she added.
Scarlet has not revealed how much she spent on her latest surgery.
However, in September last year she estimated she had spent around £31.5k on transforming herself, spending an entire house deposit on the operations.
She first entered the surgical field when she was fitted with a gastric sleeve in February 2021, to help her lose an incredible 13 stone.
Afterwards, Scarlet’s self-confidence skyrocketed and she decided to undergo a tummy tuck, muscle repair, arm liposuction and an arm lift which was later booked for November 2021.
In March 2022, Scarlet booked her breast augmentation, which added another dent in the $30,000 and cost her £6,000.
Following her operations in March, she later returned to Turkey in August 2022 for a thigh lift and breast enlargement, which raised a total of £7,000.
What are Brazilian butt lifts and why are they so popular?
Buttock augmentation surgery – known as a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) – is used to make the buttocks look bigger, rounder and lifted.
Surgeons transfer fat, inject fillers or place silicone-filled implants.
According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), it is the fastest growing cosmetic procedure, but also one of the most dangerous.
Many patients travel to places like Turkey or seek out unregistered surgeons in Britain and are not given full information about the risks.
BBLs carry the highest risk of all cosmetic procedures – with more than one death per 4,000 procedures.
Because celebrities undergo such surgeries, many women hope to emulate their appearance.
Consultant clinical psychologist Dr Anu Sayal-Bennett, a charter member of the British Psychological Society, said the BBC: “Despite all the talk about body positivity, there is pressure on women – and men too – to look a certain way.”
Many people travel abroad for the procedure because it is cheaper and advertising is “terribly tempting”, combined with the idea of a beach holiday, Dr Sayal-Bennett added.
