The woman shared her thoughts on Dollar Tree’s skin care products in a post on Reddit’s Frugal forum, which has more than 5 million members.

POWERFUL PRODUCTS

She decided to try the budget-friendly products after being “disappointed” with recent purchases at Bath & Body Works.

“The lotions make my skin itchy, and since I’m already in menopause, itchy skin is already a problem for me,” she said, writing under the name Historical-Gap-7084.

“I didn’t want to irritate it any further. So I decided to see if Dollar Tree products would work.”

She raved that the bPure hydrating night cream sold at Dollar Tree is comparable to Olay Regenerative, which costs a whopping $27.49 at Target.

“I love it,” she said.

“I put it on about 15 minutes before I go to bed.

“Being over 50 and living in a dry climate, I need something that will help my skin retain moisture.”

She was also impressed with Dollar Tree’s Global Beauty Care collagen skin cream (for the face), the facial serum and the soothing and lifting eye cream.

“I use all of them in the morning and the eye lift cream in the evening in combination with the night cream mentioned above,” she said.

Dollar Tree has a whole line of amazing skin care products – the $1.25 serum I bought has drastically changed my skin

“The facial serum contains collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid and squalene, just like the facial and eye cream.

“They feel nice on my skin, although they are a little greasy, so I don’t use a lot of them, and sometimes I don’t use all three in one day.”

The Redditor said that Bolero Beverly Hills’ body butter is a non-greasy moisturizer with a “pleasant” scent of vanilla bean and honey, while their body oil makes her skin smooth after showering.

She said Yardley of London’s large facial cleansing cloths are also worth buying as they are ‘effective’ and ‘the size of a washcloth’.

“Overall, the products I’ve purchased are pretty comparable to the more expensive beauty products I’ve purchased in the past,” she said.

“So if you’re tired of the loud smells of BBW [Bath & Body Works]and need an alternative, definitely check out Dollar Tree, if there is one near you.”

FAN FAVORITES

Many people gave her a positive review and thanked her for the product recommendations.

“That Olay Regenerist cream is $30, the dollar store knockoff for $1.25 is a steal, it’s ridiculous to charge $30 when it’s not even made in the US or Europe,” someone said.

“Thanks for this!!! It’s so helpful…” another commented.

“Yes, the dollar store skin care products are not sold,” said a third.

bPure Hydrating Night Cream is also sold on Amazon, where it has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars.

The fragrance-free product contains vitamins E, B5 and B3 to reduce fine lines and wrinkles overnight.

The brand recommends using a dime-sized amount of cream on the face and neck as the last step in your nighttime beauty routine.

According to HealthlineVitamin E may be helpful in reducing UV damage to the skin.

It is also “excellent” for hydrating dry areas.
