I’m Phoebe Bridgers’ makeup artist and I learned my favorite trick during Paris Fashion Week
A celebrity makeup artist shared her favorite tricks, including one she learned during Paris Fashion Week.
Amber Dreadon, a makeup professional whose clients include Phoebe Bridgers, Lorde and Elizabeth Debicki, shared the beauty tips with The US Sun.
The artistwho worked on Phoebe and Boygenius’ makeup for their 2023 Coachella show, explained that one of her best tricks helps her get rid of eyeliner, but not the drama.
“One of my all-time favorite makeup tricks is how to create definition in the eyes without it looking like I have eyeliner on,” she said.
“I learned this many years ago when I worked backstage at the Paris Fashion Week shows.
To create this look, she lines her upper lash line with a $9 eyeliner.
“I love the MCoBeauty Dual Ended Pro Eyeliner “in black,” she said.
Make sure to smudge the pencil between your lashes with the included angled brush.
She made it even more special by using facial tissues of her choice.
“Make sure you apply it as close to the lashes as possible. Then squeeze one MCoBeauty Double Sided Facial Wipe onto the end of a cotton swab so it’s damp.

“Remove the eyeliner close to the lash line, but not all the way into the lashes. This way you’ll only leave an untraceable definition along the lash line that will look even better when you apply mascara, but won’t look too made up.”
Dreadon added that this also helps her avoid a common mistake she sees all too often.
“I never understand why people have a super matte face but a shiny, oily body,” she said.
“I love that the two things complement each other, and it’s an easy solution. If you want a matte face, but still want a glow, use the MCoBeauty Dewy Face Stick and apply it liberally to the back of your hand so it warms up,” she said.
“Then use your fingertips to dab the product onto the high points of the face. This will reflect the light and give the skin a radiant glow.
“The top of the cheekbone, the brow bone, and even a little bit on the corner of the eye, accentuate the face and make everything come together perfectly.”
One trend that Dreadon does love is radiant, healthy skin.
“I love that the trend for glowing skin is back with K-beauty!” she said.
“I like to have a few products on hand to enhance the skin’s natural glow. Prep the skin by combining a moisturizer with bronzing drops (my favorite combo is the MCoBeauty Super Glow Bronzing Drops with the MCoBeauty Souffle Dream Moisturizing Cream).
“Then, increase shine and contour by applying a base coat before foundation.”
She uses Instant Contour Cream Bronzer from MCoBeautywhere you draw dots on the face with the contour and then MCoBeauty Highlight and Glow Beauty Wand to dot on the marker for the “easiest” way to complete the technique.
“Apply the dots simultaneously with a fluffy blending brush, then apply a sheer foundation on top to even out the skin tone,” she said.
