I’m Phoebe Bridgers’ makeup artist – my favorite product that doesn’t require a mirror is only $9
A celebrity makeup artist has revealed the affordable products she uses for her clients’ most beautiful moments.
Amber Dread, a MUA whose clients include Phoebe Bridgers, Lorde and Elizabeth Debicki, shared her favorite products with The US Sun.
Wirewho put together Phoebe’s Weekend 2 Coachella look and Lorde’s Met Gala look, explained that she doesn’t need to make an expensive trip to Sephora to put together her makeup arsenal.
“I like to mix budget-friendly products with my luxury products,” she said.
“There are so many great basic products that don’t have to be expensive!”
Two of her favorite tools are the $6.99 MCoBeauty Dual density blender sponge And $10.99 Makeup Fixing Puffswhich she always has on hand to blend while she works and to apply under her eyes.
Dread also relies on using mascara in the summer heat to prevent raccoon eyes.
“When it’s that hot and sticky and I’m trying to keep all my makeup in place, I can’t go without mascara,” she said.
“The MCoBeauty Xtendlash Mascara in Black/Brown is a must-have.“
She added that one of her favorite unconventional products is a hydrating spray that she applies at the end of her makeup routine.

“I think most people save their face mist for the last part of their makeup application, but I like to use a hydrating face mist at the beginning and end of a makeup session,” she says.
Dread explains that this step helps keep skin hydrated during application.
“Use a spray like the MCoBeauty Hydrate and Glow Ultra-Fine Mist “Before I massage in moisturizer, I get lush, hydrated skin that’s ready for makeup application,” she said.
This trick, she explained, goes hand in hand with the latest beauty trend she’s enjoying.
“I love that the trend for glowing skin is back with K-beauty!” she said.
“I like to have a few products on hand that enhance my skin’s natural glow.
“[I] PNourish the skin by combining a moisturizer with bronzing drops (my favorite combination is the MCoBeauty Super Glow Bronzing Drops with the MCoBeauty Souffle Dream Moisturizing Cream).
“Than [I up] “The glow and contours are created by applying a base coat before the foundation,” she explains.
“The easiest way to do this is to MCoBeauty Instant Contour Cream Bronzer and draw dots where you want to outline, then use the MCoBeauty Highlight and Glow Beauty Wand to indicate where you want to mark.
“Apply the dots simultaneously with a fluffy blending brush, then apply a sheer foundation to even out the skin tone.”
Dread also always makes sure there’s a lip gloss in her makeup kit.
“I’m loving the return of more ’90s-inspired lipsticks and am obsessed with a traditional, super-shiny lip gloss. So I can’t live without a super-shiny lip gloss in my makeup kit that I can layer over cool-toned lipsticks,” she said.
“The MCoBeauty Pout Gloss Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Clear is a must-have, and I also love the color Tickle, which is a super easy product that requires no mirror to touch up.”
