‘I’m screaming’ shout Primark fans as the Christmas range they ‘so want’ finally disappears
THE Grinch may have stolen Christmas, but it’s Primark who is ready to wipe out your money with its latest festive drop.
The bargain store is known for creating collections celebrating Disney characters, cult films and television favorites.
And with Christmas just months away, shoppers are in a frenzy over their latest range dedicated to Dr. Seuss, who hates Santa Claus.
The Grinch first appeared in a 1957 children’s book and has appeared in numerous cartoons and films. He is now a Christmas piece for both children and adults.
So the green grump, played by Jim Carrey on the big screen, feels like a natural choice for another Primark range – following successful runs in previous years.
This time, store bosses have created cute, fuzzy pajamas for the whole family – even the dog.
And they won’t cost you more than £15 for the adult versions.
There’s also a plush dancing Grinch up for grabs, as well as pillows, slippers and a travel pillow.
For the home, there are extra large candle sticks and lollipops that add some festive fun to the Christmas tree.
And it wouldn’t be a proper Grinch range without a few fun buys for all the loyal Max’s out there.
If you want to spoil your dog this Christmas, you can buy Grinch-themed tennis balls, chew toys and poop bag dispensers.
Primark bosses say: “We’re not usually about feeling Grinchy, but this is one occasion where we’ll allow it!”
They added: “Did we mention there are matching pajamas available for the whole family? How cute!
“With the cozy fabric making them perfect for the colder seasons, why not complete your cozy bedtime ensemble by adding our plush The Grinch slippers?”
Staff at the retail giant’s Braehead store, near Glasgow, have racked up more than 12,000 views after sharing a look at the range on TikTok.
They said, “Grinch has arrived in Braehead.”
And shoppers are already desperate to get their hands on the collection, with the dancing Grinch proving particularly popular.
“I want one so bad, where can I get one?” one person asked.
A second echoed: “I want this.”
A third added: “I AM SCREAMING.”
A fourth wrote: “Omg I just watched the Nightmare Before Christmas, I have to go back and get these Grinch ones.”
“I pay my bills and then Primark calls me,” joked a fifth.
Meanwhile, a sixth simply chimed in: “I neededdddd.”
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
How does Primark do it? Continue to provide trendy items at such incredible prices? According to the bosses, it is still only four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that they can save by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothing offers the “latest trends”, they “do not use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And finally, they try “to be as efficient as possible in transporting products from factories to stores.” This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our T-shirts so they can be placed directly on the shelves.”
