3 tips to age backwards

You can’t really get younger, but you can do your best to look younger.

Use sun protection

The most common cause of an aging face is sun exposure and sun damage.

Using SPF daily is the most effective way to keep skin looking young and care for aging skin.

Ditch dramatic makeup

Opt for brown eyeliners and mascaras instead of black, swap matte bronzers, blushers and face powders for creamy products and let your face shine with shimmering bronze, pink and gold eyeshadows.

Dress for your body shape

Many women tend to hide behind baggy, shapeless clothing as they get older.

But the secret to looking young and trendy is to embrace the body shape you have.

Midi skirts are all the rage at the moment, providing appropriate coverage for anyone who doesn’t want to show too much leg or knee. And pleated midi skirts are great if you’re looking for a versatile day-to-night piece.

Blazers never go out of style and can instantly take any outfit to the next level. Make sure the blower length hits you at the right point.

Jeans have had a revival and there are so many different styles on the high street for you to try. When in doubt, choose a medium blue color and a reliable black.

The glamorous grandmother, who had her first child at 19, added that she also moisturizes her entire body every day.

“The skin absorbs whatever you put on it, so make sure it’s chemical-free,” she said.

“On my face, I use rosehip oil and castor oil for my neck and eye areas to combat wrinkles.

“Caster oil is incredibly effective for fine lines.

“I combine all this with an ‘a Gua Sha’ stone – also called a jade scraper – which can chisel out cheekbones you didn’t even know existed.”
