A man was arrested after a hospital, several schools and companies were deposited in Lockdown after shots that were fired in a rural city.
The city of Kingaroy, 200 km west of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, was partially locked up after gunshots on a house on Arthur RD were fired on Wednesday.
A number of people could escape from the building before the police arrived.
The armed man fled the stage and spoke to a hectic manhunt. Officers arrested a 25-year-old man at Foleys RD at 1.30 pm on Goodger.

The police said earlier that the man may travel in a black Suzuki Swift, with false number plates with 551 Ge9.
It was described as approximately 175 cm long, with a slender construction, white complexion and brown hair and brown eyes. Members of the public were encouraged not to approach.
