Fantasy IslandLocated in Ingoldmells on the coast of Lincolnshire, is one of the more unique theme parks in the country.
The idiosyncratic theme park has more than 30 rides, but there is one that Junkies Theme Park certainly does not want to miss.
The Odyssey Coaster of Fantasy Island is the world’s highest hanging loop box, standing at 167 feet/51 m high.
The spine ride travels on 62 MPH and was open in 2002, the year of the golden jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Edward was one of the first people to ride on the Odyssey.
It has five inversions (where riders are turned upside down), including a cork role and a 124 feet/ 37 m high vertical loop.
The Odyssey has a 4.6 -rating of five on Google Reviews with one rider who describes it as ‘unexpectedly good’.
Another rider says: ‘I thought it was great. When I tried it for the first time, it was a great ride, probably better than the Smiler in Alton Towers. ‘
