Model and TV presenter Bec Judd has unleashed the Victorian premier, claiming the crime rate is 'spiraling' and the government is doing 'nothing'.

Judd – who regularly comments on crimes in the affluent Melbourne suburb of Brighton, where she lives with her wonderful husband Chris and their children – was asked on social media to 'pls keep up the vocal anger against the Allen government'.

The fan added that there was a “lack of consequences and continued bailing for violent youth.” The community is in fear and has no voice except people like you!'

Judd, 41, shared the woman's comment along with a video of a dramatic police arrest of a group of teenage boys in Brighton on Thursday before shocked diners along trendy Church St.

'Absolute. I will not remain silent on this until Victorians feel safe in their homes again,” Judd said.

'[Victoria Premier Jacinta Allan] will lose the elections due to her government's lack of action on rising juvenile crime (among other things).”

Judd, who has never run for public office, then gave some crime-fighting tips to the government.

'It requires a multi-pronged approach of immediate, short-term and long-term/preventative measures, and yet we hear NOTHING about it [Jacinta Allan]' she wrote.

Judd famously dealt with former Victorian premier Dan Andrews over crime in Melbourne, but she said his successor was no better.

“I will always remember her as the Prime Minister who made Victoria unsafe, who cared more about violent offenders than innocent, hard-working citizens and who couldn't even be bothered to address this when her constituents and the police begged for leadership.”

The incident in the video linked by Judd resulted in the arrest of three teenagers on Church St in Brighton.

About 100 bystanders gathered and cheered as police arrested a 16-year-old boy from Clyde North, another 16-year-old boy from Dingley Village and a 16-year-old girl from Carrum Downs.

Police received calls from the public about the teenagers acting suspiciously in an allegedly stolen car.

Undercover officers then followed the car from New St to Church St, eventually stopping it in front of shocked customers at around 1pm.

Police officers jumped from two unmarked cars and members of the public tried to help.

“It was very busy when it happened, there were a lot of police officers on the street,” said a witness.

“They ran to the car and grabbed two teenagers out. “One of the officers had to push his way through the glass in the back of the car,” she added.

Local Liberal MP James Newbury told 9News in response to the incident that Victoria's bail laws need to be tightened.

“We cannot have a system where police arrest criminals and they are free the next morning, ready to commit the same crime again,” he said.

Witnesses say they saw the girl involved spitting and, as she was led away by police, shouting to her friends, “Call me when you get out.”

The eyewitness said: 'There was mainly a commotion with her'.

Mr Newbury added: 'These criminals are making a mockery of our system.'
