A horrific fan fight at Ford Field has gone viral on social media following the top-seeded Detroit Lions' stunning playoff loss to the visiting Washington Commanders on Saturday.
The unrest in the Divisional Round was bad enough for the home fans, but it was made worse when two separate groups of spectators became entangled on a staircase during the match.
One man at the bottom of the pile seemed to take most of the abuse. He was seen shielding his face with his arms wrapped around the base of a railing as others did their best to stomp and punch the frightened man.
'Stop talking about women, p****!' one voice could be heard shouting off camera as security separated the fighters.
“You got fucking knocked out,” another added, apparently referring to a scene from a popular 1995 Ice Cube movie. “You passed out like it was 'Friday.'”
DailyMail.com has contacted the team and local police for more information. For now, all that is known comes from the cellphone footage and the people who posted the clips on social media.
The fight is said to have started with someone disrespecting a woman, but details are still scarce

A cameraman who filmed the brawl claims the mob victim was not a Lions or Commanders supporter, but a fan of the San Francisco 49ers.
In addition, they repeated the accusation that the man at the bottom of the pile had instigated the scuffle.
“Maybe you shouldn't disrespect women and then punch someone and this wouldn't happen,” read one post from someone with the handle: @zelly_bean.
Other footage from the same end zone shows insults being hurled from different rows.
The brawl comes at a new low for fan behavior in the NFL.
Last week, Philadelphia Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell was filmed abusing a female Packers supporter in a video that subsequently went viral. Calling her an “ugly, stupid bastard,” he has since lost his job and has been banned from coming back to Lincoln Financial Field.

It was the latest controversy involving Eagles fans and it reinforced the idea – at least in the eyes of their rivals – that these fans are aggressive, obnoxious and even violent.
But after the fight at Ford Field, a different narrative emerged online, with critics on social media claiming Lions fans are even worse than those in Philadelphia.
“Moral of the story is don't go to Detroit,” someone wrote on X. “Worst fans in the NFL when it comes to watching an away game. Just was at this year's Seahawks game and it was pathetic. Fights everywhere. Glad you lost [the game] and I hope yours [Super Bowl] window is closed.'
“The only moral of the story here is that the Lions are really coming for Philly when it comes to the worst fan base in the league,” another added. 'Even in such a short time. Miserable.'
