The president-elect will lay a wreath at the Arlington National Ceremony after he and Melania watched a fireworks display at his golf club in Virginia on Saturday night.

Joy over Trump's comeback is already flowing through the nation's capital, with parties taking place across the city.

Donald Trump promises an executive order to release TikTok after the inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump urged TikTok users to be patient and used companies to help the app stay up after the deadline passed for the ban passed by Congress last year and signed by President Joe Biden .

Trump promised on Monday after his inauguration as president of the United States to issue an executive order to clear the platform.

He promised to extend the deadline for bans on the platform as negotiations surrounding the platform continue.

“Americans deserve to see our exciting inauguration Monday, as well as other events and conversations,” he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump indicated his preference for TikTok to give the United States a 50 percent ownership position as part of a joint venture with Chinese company ByteDance.

“By doing this we save TikTok, keep it in good hands and let it speak,” he wrote. 'Without American approval there is no Tik Tok.'

TikTok officially went live for users in the United States on Saturday evening.

The American assessment of Trump's plan to pardon on January 6

The majority of Americans say they would be unhappy if Donald Trump pardoned January 6 rioters charged with crimes, according to an exclusive poll from DailyMail.com/JL Partners.

More than 1,500 people have been charged with federal crimes stemming from the historic protest that saw hordes of MAGA fans take over Capitol Hill.

More than 1,000 defendants have been charged or found guilty of a range of crimes, from trespassing to seditious conspiracy.

Many Americans witnessed the event live on television, where they saw violence against authorities, vandalism against the historic Capitol, and other general anarchy on their screens.

However, President-elect Donald Trump is determined to pardon the January 6 criminals on “Day One,” which takes place on Monday, January 20, 2025.

“Most likely I'll do it very soon,” he said of the pardon in a recent interview with NBC's “Meet the Press.”

A look inside JD Vance and wife Usha's glitzy party as MAGA legends preview an exclusive party

Ahead of Donald Trump's highly anticipated inauguration, Vice President-elect JD Vance and his wife Usha hosted an exclusive, glitzy bash attended by several MAGA legends.

At the star-studded Cabinet reception and vice president's dinner, the former Ohio senator and his wife were dressed to the nines at the glamorous event held Saturday evening at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.

The vice president-elect and his dolled-up wife were even spotted sharing a loving kiss before he gave a moving speech to the celebrity crowd.

Americans are choosing which migrants Trump should send home first as the mass deportation plan gains universal support

Donald Trump has promised that the largest mass deportation in America's history will begin on the first day of his presidency, and voters say this cannot happen soon enough.

When 1,009 registered voters were asked for their one-word verdict, the most popular response was: Good.

The results are in the latest JL Partners survey for DailyMail.com, just before Trump's inauguration on Monday.

It showed that voters overwhelmingly believe that tackling illegal immigration and deportations should be Trump's priority from day one.

Starting mass deportations was seen as the most important thing by 23 percent of respondents.

Then came the conclusion of a peace agreement with Ukraine, cited by seven percent, and the elimination of the tax on tips (one of Trump's most striking campaign promises), at six percent.

James Johnson, co-founder of JL Partners, said the unity was striking.

“Right now, America is more united than ever before on mass deportations,” he said.

Biden's latest humiliation: Most Americans can't name a single success and will remember him for doing 'nothing'

It's the one question that unites Americans when it comes to President Joe Biden.

Ask Democrats, Republicans or independents for their one-word summary of his legacy and they put aside their differences to answer almost unanimously: Nothing.

These are the extraordinary results of an exclusive survey conducted for DailyMail.com by JL Partners.

Some 1,009 registered voters were asked for their brief description of the legacy of Biden, who leaves the White House on Monday at the age of 82 after four turbulent years.

When the results are arranged in a word cloud, the most common answer stands out in the middle. The next most popular answers are economy, inflation and infrastructure, in a more encouraging nod to one of his most important pieces of legislation.

Yet the same word “nothing” stands out when responses are divided by political affiliation.

For Democrats, the memory is softened by other words like “good,” “stability” and “better.”

Jubilation in DC as beaming Trump and Melania triumphantly return to the capital for inaugural festivities

Donald Trump and his wife Melania were all smiles as they watched a fireworks show during one of the many celebrations held in Washington DC ahead of the inauguration.

Trump marked his return to power with a party at his Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, about 30 miles outside Washington.

In addition to the First Couple, many of the key players in the Trump inner circle were in attendance, including daughter and former senior adviser Ivanka, who attended with her husband, Jared Kushner.

All of Trump's adult children and their spouses were present, with Don Jr. was joined by his controversial new boyfriend Bettina Anderson, while Tiffany attended with husband Michael Boulos, as well as Eric and wife Lara.

But all eyes were on Donald and Melania, who flashed each other a rare smile as they watched the display.
