Trump comment about Elon Musk and ‘computers’ sparks wild election conspiracy theory

One comment Donald Trump made during his victory rally has sparked wild conspiracy theories that Elon Musk rigged the election to secure a Republican victory in Pennsylvania.

Trump told the raucous crowd that the billionaire tech whiz “knows computers better than anyone” as he welcomed Musk to his stage Sunday afternoon.

'He knows those computers better than anyone. All those computers. Those vote counting computers. And in the end, we won Pennsylvania by a landslide,” Trump said.

“He traveled to Pennsylvania, where he campaigned for me in Pennsylvania for a month and a half, and he's a popular guy. He was very effective… Thanks to Elon.”

Polls had suggested the swing state could side with Kamala Harris on election night, but ultimately Trump won convincingly, securing every other swing state.

Now Trump's comments are fueling conspiracies that Musk helped manipulate the state using his computer knowledge.

“Sounds like an admission that Elon Musk changed the vote totals to win him the election,” one person said.

Another claimed: 'Sounds like Musk rigged the vote!'

“I just can't help but brag about his crimes,” said another.

But Trump's supporters laughed off the controversy, with one replying that it's “so funny to see the left becoming conspiracy theorists.”

Trump famously claimed he lost the 2020 election due to voter fraud and illegal tampering — a claim that was widely mocked by Democrats and lawmakers.

Now MAGA supporters feel vindicated when they see Democratic voters taking a similar line against Trump.

“You sound like an election denier,” one person said in response to the new conspiracy theory.

Musk and Trump embraced on stage at the rally on Sunday and celebrated the monumental moment.

The billionaire took the stage to tout the changes he plans to make in the federal government as co-head of the Department of Government Efficiency with X Æ A-12 (pronounced ex-ash-ay-twelve ), four, at his side .

“He's a very enthusiastic supporter, as you can see.” Musk then cheered and raised his arms at his sides as X stared at the crowd.

During his brief remarks, Musk promised to shake up the federal bureaucracy with his new DOGE agency, saying “we will do great things here.”

“This victory is actually the beginning,” he vowed.

Musk said the new agency's goal is to “make America strong for centuries” and “make America great again.”

SpaceX's CEO previously set an ambitious goal of cutting federal spending by $2 trillion over the next few years, with the federal budget hovering around $6.8 trillion.

However, he seemed to adjust that goal last week.

“I think we'll try for $2 trillion. “I think this is the best outcome,” he said. 'But I do think you should have a little surplus. I think if we try to make $2 trillion, we have a good chance of getting $1 [trillion].'
