The wife of disgraced real estate agent Tal Alexander has filed for divorce amid the fallout from his federal sex trafficking indictment.
The real estate agent, 38, is accused of drugging and raping dozens of women, along with his real estate agent brother, Alon, and his twin brother, Oren, both 37.
Arielle Alexander filed for divorce less than two years into their marriage and shortly after the birth of their first child.
“I will continue to provide love and support to my young baby as I leave my husband,” Arielle said in a statement to The Real Deal through her attorney.
“This commitment to the interests and well-being of my child will remain my highest priority.”
Alexander and his brother were arrested on December 11 and remain in custody awaiting trial.
Tal Alexander's wife Arielle has filed for divorce amid the fallout from his federal sex trafficking charges.
Prosecutors allege the brothers are involved in a ring of gang rapes spanning more than a decade, dating back to when they were in high school.
As part of the investigation, Alexander's home was raided and investigators said they recovered disturbing “trophies” detailing the abuse.
The damning evidence includes explicit sex videos and photos reportedly shows the three brothers and other individuals engaging in sexual acts with women who were drunk and unaware they were being recorded.
In one video, a camera was used to record above a toilet stall where a man and a woman were having sexual intercourse.
When the woman noticed the camera, she reportedly expressed distress, said “no” and objected to being recorded, the complaint said.
Other videos allegedly show women visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs being manipulated into sexual acts by the brothers or others, sometimes without actively participating or giving the appearance of consent, the filing said.
