Chris Brown has filed a $500 million lawsuit against the companies and people behind a docuseries he claims has been discredited.

The Grammy winner, 35, called Warner Bros. Discovery, Ample, and producers involved in putting together and airing the docuseries Chris Brown: A History of Violence on Investigation Discovery last fall.

The Forever singer said in legal documents reviewed by TMZ that producers and companies named in the lawsuit knowingly made accusations against him that they had “evidence” that was false.

The With You singer said the docuseries portrayed him as “a serial rapist and a sexual abuser” and noted that he has never been convicted “of any sex-related crime.”

Brown said the woman who accused him in the docuseries, who remained anonymous, had to withdraw a lawsuit she filed against him due to numerous factual inconsistencies.

Brown said the docuseries wiped away the progress he had made in rebuilding his public image in the nearly 16 years since he attacked then-girlfriend Rihanna, 36, the outlet reported.

In the infamous incident, Brown attacked the Umbrella singer in a car in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles after a pre-Grammy party on February 8, 2009.

Brown said producers chose to repeat his “past mistakes” – for which he said he took responsibility – and combine them with bad information to capitalize on his fame.

Brown said he can show damage to his career and finances after the docuseries airs.

The Tappahannock, Virginia, resident said he will donate a portion of his winnings to organizations that support sexual assault victims, the outlet reported.

Brown posted to his 144 million Instagram followers a statement from the law firm he hired for the lawsuit, McCatherm, Shokouhi, Evans, with the caption: “Read….”

The statement said that “the defendants released the documentary … despite being informed of the false and misleading story accusing Mr. Brown of heinous acts, including sexual assault and allegations of evidence tampering contained in the had been discredited in court and dismissed as unfounded.'

Brown's legal team said the media companies prioritized “profit over journalistic integrity” in releasing the docuseries.

Brown's lawyers said producers “sensationalized debunked claims to generate viewership and revenue” for the docuseries.

The woman accusing Brown, identified in the docuseries as Jane Doe, has had legal troubles in the past that were unrelated to Brown, Brown's attorneys said in the statement.

They added that “numerous text and voice messages” supported that all interactions between her and Brown “were consensual.”

Brown's attorney, Levi McCathem, said the “case is about protecting the truth,” and that “the producers of this documentary deliberately promoted false and defamatory information.”

McCathem said the companies and producers involved not only harmed Brown, but also undermined “the credibility of real survivors of violence.”

Brown's legal team said the 2017 documentary Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life “remains the definitive account of his experiences and growth.”
