A North Carolina husband confessed on social media to killing his wife and planning to kill himself after catching his wife cheating.
George Lesniak, 63, wrote on a Facebook page that he was the sole administrator that he killed his wife, Cathleen Lesniak, 59, on Saturday evening.
“My wife admitted she was cheating on me, so I killed her. I'm about to commit suicide,” he wrote in a now-deleted post on the ADAS Support group around 6 p.m., according to the NC Beat.

Within three minutes of the post going live, Fuquay-Varina police were dispatched to Lesniak's home in response to reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found Cathleen dead from a gunshot wound and George dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“This incident is very tragic and we urge the community to keep the family in our thoughts,” Fuquay-Varina police wrote on social media.
The couple was married for 34 years, the Raleigh News & Observer reports.

When officers arrived at the home, they found Cathleen dead from a gunshot wound and George dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He had worked as vice president of training for Autel Automotive Intelligence USA and led the Facebook group for professionals who tune sensors and cameras in a car's Advanced Driver Assistance System to monitor their surroundings.
Cathleen worked as a technical production manager at Advance Auto Parts.
Autel posted a short statement about the tragedy on Sunday, writing: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred at the Lesniak residence on January 18th.
“We at Autel extend our sincere condolences to Lesniak's family and friends.”
