John F. Harris, editor-in-chief of the liberal news outlet, said Trump's second inauguration on Monday showed the president in a “whole new light.”

Harris' comments may come as a surprise, given Politico's left-wing stance and the liberal media's unanimous condemnation of Trump.

In one executive order, Trump attacked the Biden administration for “censoring Americans' speech on online platforms” by “applying substantial coercive pressure on third parties, such as social media companies, to moderate the federal government's speech, deplatform or otherwise suppress. did not approve.”
