A Tennessee high school student shot two other students before turning the gun on himself.
The shooting happened around 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Antioch High School cafeteria.
The condition of the students is not yet known and the school remains closed.
“Antioch High School is on lockdown due to shots being fired into the school building. Metro Police are on scene,” according to a statement from Metro Nashville Public Schools to WKRN.
“The person responsible for the shooting no longer poses a threat. We gather the students in the auditorium and provide information about the reunification as soon as possible.
“This is an active crime scene and investigation. We will work with the MNPD to provide further updates as they become available.”
