NFL fans are in shock after discovering that Kansas City Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez was dating Lauren Sanchez.
It comes days after Jeff Bezos' fiancée was the center of attention at Donald Trump's inauguration in Washington, DC, on Monday in her plunging white Alexander McQueen ensemble.
Sanchez, 55, stunned in a fitted blazer and a lace corset with floral details underneath, which caught the attention of fellow attendees like Mark Zuckerberg.
But her presence at the forefront of the political process led fans on social media to discover that she is the ex-girlfriend of Gonzalez, 48.
The NFL star and Lauren — who share a son, Nikko — have since been spotted on numerous outings with their new partners in recent years.
They also discovered that Gonzalez now works as an analyst for “Thursday Night Football,” which airs on Bezos' Amazon Prime Video.

A second commented: 'I thought I knew she was his ex but I didn't put that part together. Unreal.'
Another commented: 'Did you just learn this? And now Tony works for Bezos at Thursday Night Football'.
A third fan simply asked “what happened?” before another replied 'wow'.
Despite going through a difficult divorce in 2002, during which Lauren and Tony threw a slew of cheating accusations at each other, the couple appears to have overcome their tumultuous past.
It's no secret that Lauren has remained close with Tony and his new wife, October Gonzalez, as she often interacts with them.
Lauren previously called Tony one of her “best friends” and opened up about their co-parenting style.

The Amazon founder's 70-meter yacht, which he commissioned in 2018 and named Koru, currently holds the record as the world's tallest superyacht.
The Koru is the second largest sailing ship in the world.
