Another NFL player's home was broken into when Falcons defensive back Antonio Hamilton Sr. was burglarized early Friday morning.
TMZ Sports has obtained an incident report from the Roswell Police Department, which states that police were called to Hamilton's home around midnight after his security camera captured three men searching his home.
The report states that the suspects used a hammer/hammer to break open a back door while Hamilton Sr. was on holiday. They then took a safe and fled within minutes.
According to the documents, upon arrival, police deployed K9s to find the thieves but did not locate them.
Additionally, the documents state that authorities found the safe near a fence in Hamilton's home. They detailed that the safe contained “firearms and multiple purses.”
Hamilton celebrates his 32nd birthday on Friday and appeared to comment on the incident on Instagram, sharing a Bible verse that read: “And since you do not know when that time will come, be on the alert! Stay alert!”
Falcons defensive end Antonio Hamilton Sr. became the latest victim of NFL burglaries
In late 2024, the homes of NFL stars Travis Kelce and Joe Burrow were burglarized
The burglary at Hamilton's comes after four Chilean nationals were arrested in connection with the recent $7.5 million burglary of Joe Burrow's home in December.
According to TMZ, the group — which police reportedly allege were “in the country illegally or over the limit” — was found with LSU and Bengals gear believed to have been taken from Burrow.
The quarterback became the latest NFL star to be the victim of a burglary in the middle of a game.
Hamilton County (Ohio) sheriffs confirmed the burglary last month in suburban Anderson Township, while Burrow was 1,000 miles away, across from the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
The men – identified as Alexander Chavez, Bastian Morales, Jordan Sanchez and Sergio Cabello – were reportedly taken into custody on January 10 following a traffic stop in Ohio.
They will appear in court on Tuesday. But according to TMZ, no one has been charged with burglary at this time.
This was despite the fact that the group was in possession of Husky automatic center punching tools, which were reportedly regularly used by the 'South American Theft Group' to 'break glass and enter homes'.
In addition to Burrow and Hamilton, the Kansas area mansions of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were also burglarized in late 2024.
Last week, the burglaries expanded when Cleveland Cavaliers security guard Ty Jerome's home was burglarized during the Cavs' road trip.
