A 17-year-old boy from Tennessee was found under his bed by the police after he reportedly shot at a FedEx van driver during a wild traffic incident.
The teenage threat was driving a pick-up when he reportedly stopped next to the FedEx driver and fired a gun in the side of the truck behind the victim's head-so he almost missed them, according to the US Marshals Service.
The incident took place near the Civic Center on s Highland on December 15 around 5.20 p.m.
When the suspect started running away, the ailing director called the emergency number and informed the Jackson police.
But when the reacting officials appeared on the spot, the teenager cheerful jumped on the Interstate 40 and led them for a chase at a speed of 160 km/hour. The suspect managed to escape.
Officials still have to clarify whether the victim was injured or applied for treatment.
However, on January 22, deputy Marshals and Taskforce officers arrested the suspect after he was found 'hidden under a bed' in the home of his teenager in Lexington.
During the investigation, the father of the teenager, Ricky Maness, Jr., 44, would have given false information about the location of his son, which resulted in his arrest.

The suspect has been accused of attempted murder with premeditation, possession of a firearm during a dangerous crime, the reckless endanger of the crime and avoiding arrest.
The boy was booked in the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center while his father was held in the Henderson County Detention Center.
It remains unclear whether there is a deposit amount or whether a court has been established for one of them.
The father and son were captured by the US Marshals Service Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force- a task force with several authorities consisting of federal, state and local law enforcement officers in West Benesee.
According to the press release, the TRVFTF has taken around 3,000 violent offenders and sexual predators since 2021.
This comes months after a teenager from Texas, who was on his way to pick up his girlfriend from his work, was found killed in his car – his body riddled with bullets – after an apparent traffic aggression incident. Cody Johnson, 19, was found on 27 September with various shot wounds along the service road on the Katy Freeway between Beltway 8 and Highway 99.

Family members said he had left his mother's house in Missouri City, about thirty kilometers south of Houston an hour earlier, around 7 p.m.
With the intention of picking up his girlfriend from her job in Katy, Johnson never made it, said his parents – pointing to data from an app that showed that his Camaro came to a halt on the Katy Freeway around 8.04 pm.
It is assumed that the car drove for some time before it came to a stop where it was later discovered.
Within minutes he was found along the I-10 highway, his car and body riddled with bullets, so that the local sheriff suspected that the incident came out of anger on the road.
