Will Ferrell has spoken about how he played a part in the infamous OJ Simpson trial as he appears on the Graham Norton show this week.
The actor, 57, appeared on the chat show with his You're Welcome co-star Reese Witherspoon, who also spoke about her experience in court.
Revealing the 'strangest appearance' he ever had, he revealed he was asked to perform for the judges at the OJ Simpson Trial because they were sequestered for so long.
He recalled, “I was doing improv at the Groundlings Theater in LA and the OJ Simpson trial was going on at the same time.
“The jury was sequestered for a long time and had nowhere to goblond, so someone came up with the idea of performing our sketch show for them in the field to lighten the mood. It was just us and the judges.
“They seemed mildly entertained, but it was very bizarre.”

Reece said: 'We met on Saturday Night Live in 2001 and 22 short years later we came up with an idea! I actually said yes to the movie and worked with Will before I knew what the plot was, I just wanted to do it. '
Will says, “I had the best time, and it would be a dream to work together again.”
Reese went on to discuss the impact her Booked Club has had after gaining a reputation for boosting the careers of female writers.
She said: 'In 2013 I read a really terrible script that was so negative towards women, and I thought I could do better.

'I put my money into a business and the first three books I bought were Gone Girl, Wild and Big Little Lies. I pick one book a month and change some shows.
'What I hadn't understood is how the publication of a book can change the author's life in terms of economics. It's the meaningful and unexpected part of starting the business. '
Speaking about his critically acclaimed documentary, Will & Harper, Will said: 'The reaction was surprising – we really didn't know what we had. It was a remarkable time for Harper.
“She was so brave to tell her story, and she has become a focal point to continue fighting for trans rights around the world and especially in the United States.”
