Professor Leah Bromfield – SA
Professor Leah Bromfield, director and chairman of the Australian Center for Child Protection, has been nominated for South Australia for Australian of the year.
Professor Bromfield has developed a national framework for finding evidence -based solutions for child abuse and detachment.
Megan Gilmour – Act
Megan Gilmour, co-founder of Missingschool, has been nominated for the ACT nomination for Australian of the Year.
After her son was seriously injured and could not go to school, Mrs. Gilmour was a co-author of the first national report on school insulation and she developed the world's first telepresence robot service.
Sam Elsom – Tasmania
Sam Elsom, the founder of SEA Forest, is Tasmania nominated for Australian of the year and developed the first start-up that Asparagopsis, a natural seaweed, in a cattle feed supplement to reduce methane's emissions.
Dianne and Ian Haggerty – WA
Dianne and Ian Haggerty, the founders of Natural Intelligence Farming, have been nominated for West-Australia for Australian of the year.
The couple is credited for pioneering modern agricultural practices thanks to their focus on supporting various microbiomas in soil, plants and animals.
Kath Koschel-NSW
Kath Koschel, the founder of the Kindness Factory, has been nominated for NSW for Australian of the Year.
Mrs. Koschel, former professional cricket player and Ironwoman competitor, teaches children to be nice after she was told that she could never walk again after she broke her back.
Geoffrey Smith – Qld
Geoffrey Smith, a data analyst, has been nominated by NSW for Australian of the year.
Mr. Smith acknowledged the unused potential of neurodi -verkende people to contribute to the labor force and was co -founder of Australian Spatial Analytics.
Geoffrey is a recipient of Social Impact Leadership Australia and wants to employ a thousand people via ASA by 2030.
