A London court ordered a mother of Colorado accused of killing two of her children and running away to the UK to be extradited for a trial in the US.
Kimberlee Singler, 36, is being sought in Colorado Springs for the first degree murders of her daughter Elianna, nine, and son Aden, Zeven, on December 19, 2023.
She is also accused of trying to kill her third child, which was 11 years old at the time.
The police, who responds to a 911 report of a burglary in an apartment complex on the 5300 block of Palomino Ranch Point, in the northeast of the city, around 12.30 pm, Singler and her still living daughter found them next to the bodies of The children lay.
But an investigation later discovered that the first burglary report and 911 call were 'unfounded'.
Singler then fled 5,000 miles to Great -Britain, where she flee for a few days before she was arrested on December 30 in Kensington, London, by the National Crime Agency.
She had appealed to her extradition on the basis of the fact that if they were convicted, Singler would get a life sentence without the option for conditional release – a possible violation of her European human rights.
After weeks of hearings at Westminster Magistrates Court, however, Journal John Zani cleared the way for the British Minister of the Interior, Yvette Cooper to recommend Singler to return to Colorado on January 24.

In a written opinion, judge Zani stated that her extradition would be legally due to a 'working mechanism of revision in the form of executive clementia' – which indicates that the Governor of Colorado can grace her.
He added that he was' the fixed opinion that the extradition of the suspect to the United States of America to experience criminal prosecution meets its constitutional rights.
The police of Colorado Springs said it remains unclear when the accused could be returned to the United States.
'CSPD is aware of the current extradition process with regard to Kimberlee Singler, as well as the legal rights that have still offered it in the UK.
“Our research efforts go to the current case, and we will continue to work diligently on its conclusion,” said spokesperson Ira Cronin in a statement.
According to NBC, the accused is planning to appeal against the decision at the British Supreme Court.
It could possibly also submit an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France in an attempt to postpone its return.
The troubled mother has 14 days to establish an appeal.

Two days before the crimes, she had handed the children to Wentz before the holidays, but had refused to have his sister picked up.
Singler has denied that she has harmed her children. She told the police that her ex-husband had performed the murders or hired a hit.
On the day of the incident, she told civil servants that an intruder had entered the apartment that morning by locking and attacking a pat they she forgot and and she lost consciousness.
The police said they found no footprints in the snow that led to the terrace.
The mother had superficial knife wounds and was initially treated as a victim.
But that changed after her surviving daughter, who initially told the police a similar intruder story, said her Singler was trying to kill her.
While the accused initially had worked with the police but disappeared, causing an American yacht to be activated.
She was arrested by NCA officers for violations, including two counts of murder and one of attempted murder.
Singler is also accused of two counts of class two crime child abuse, one of class three crime child abuse and one of abuse.
