A society that does not think does not deserve to survive. The national response to the case of the teenager mass murderer Axel Rudakubana is completely unthinkable from top to bottom.
Does anyone really believe (like Sir Keir Starmer) that blades make something more difficult to buy, will stop knife crimes? No. So that's that brilliant idea.
Next? Some try to pretend that Rudakubana, an ignorant, mean, loosened dim white, is a political terrorist because he once looked at a terrorist website on his laptop. They hope that this will apologize at the time of the Southport murders, which led to an outbreak of lawless violence. It won't.

The people involved played an important role in the shameful attack on the Capitol, symbol of American democracy, when Mr. Trump claimed in January 2021 that he had been robbed of power by a decorated election.
His new vice-president, JD Vance, said a few days ago: “If you have committed violence on that day, you should of course not get grace.”
Mr Trump had fooled him within a few days.
Here is only one example. Daniel Rodriguez was imprisoned for 12 years for attacking police officer Michael Fanone, after other men had dragged him into the crowd and then hit him. Rodriguez put a stun gun in the neck of the police officer. The officer later had a heart attack.
During a pathetic, walking, Tetchy press conference, in which Mr Trump did not understand the facts, he called one of his questioners 'terrible' and claimed to be the 'friend of the police' absurdly. I cannot see how much conservative can welcome the arrival in the Oval Office of such a man.
