Anthony Albanese caught the attention after former Australian of the year Grace Tame got the headlines by popping up at an event organized by the prime minister with a rude message for Rupert Murdoch.
The Australian of the year 2021 wore a T-shirt with the text 'F *** Murdoch' while a smiling Lord Albanese and his fiancé Haydon greeted her on Saturday in The Lodge in Canberra for an morning tea from Australian of the Year.
Mrs. Tame, 30, has long objected to the way in which her story was portrayed in the media, especially at News Corp, which is owned by the Australian billionaire Rupert Murdoch and his family.
Commentators have reviled the prime minister because he allowed the gross message to be distributed and his reaction to it.
“It is a bewildering incorrect estimate of decency and respect as Prime Minister Albanian Grace Tame greeted and smiles while she wears this offensive T-shirt,” wrote Conservative Educational Expert Kevin Donnelly.
“Incredible.”
“I agree. I feel sorry for the prime minister, but I don't understand why she was allowed in while she was so inappropriate for such an occasion, “replied the former Victorian Prime Minister Jeff Kennett.
“Example of an awake spirit virus of 110 billion that lets your brain rot ladies and gentlemen, Grace Tame, Australian of the year 2021,” tweeted former liberal candidate Katherine Deves.

'Shame, tasteless and rude for all involved.
The conservative expert Prue McSween was also not impressed.
“Grace Tame will be remembered as a rude, vulgar, rude, undeserved cheaper Aoy,” wrote McSween on X.
'She is representative of a small group of spoiled, entitled and indulgent individuals who have contributed very little to the community, but have driven the awakened political Moloch.
“A pathetic piece of work. A stain on Australia Day. '
Mr Albanese and Mrs. Tame had an uncomfortable conversation for the cameras.
“Thank you for having me back,” said Mrs. Tame, after she had previously visited the lodge as outgoing Australian of the year in 2022, when she then primeir a stunning look at the then Prime Minister Scott Morrison Notoir.
“Relive memory?” asked Mr Albanese.
Mr. Albanese criticized because he allowed the offensive item of clothing to be worn during the event and his reaction to it
“Maybe relive a trauma,” Mrs. Tame replied to the nervous smiling Lord Albanese and Mrs. Haydon.
Mrs. Tame told the ABC that she was wearing it shirt to 'speak the truth to power'.
“This entire prize program is a platform to change change,” she said.
She said she believed that the prime minister felt 'pretty uncomfortable' when he saw what she was wearing.
“I will never lose my passion,” she said.
Mrs. Tame also joked about her confrontational choice.
'There should be a small clause underneath [the words] With an asterisk who says “not literally,” she said.
Even the maker of the T-shirt, writer Dave Milner, who founded the political comment website The Shot, expressed his surprise when he saw that it was worn during a premiership function.
“That surrealistic feeling when an Australian of the year carries the merchandise of your website to meet the prime minister,” he wrote on X.
Mr. Tame also had her defenders on Social Meida.
“Grace Tame remains iconic in dealing with our prime minister,” someone tweeted.
“Grace tongs the legend she is,” another posted on X.
“Wearing that shirt will make her a target for a while, but she has brought Murdoch's disgusting name into the headlines and that's why she's great.”
Mrs Tame announced this week that she had been appointed brand ambassador for Nike.
In 2022, the pronounced advocate caused a controversy survivors when she attended the same event as the departing Australian of the year.
When Mrs. Tame and her then partner Max Heerey arrived, they were greeted by Mr. Morrison and his wife Jenny, who congratulated them on their recent engagement.
But Mrs. Tame stopped with a petrified face while posing for the photos, so that she gave Mr. Morrison an ice -cold 'sideways look' that quickly caused a flood of memes.
Later she spoke to the criticism of X and noticed that the survival of the abuse culture 'depends on submissive smiles, self -destructive surrender and hypocrisy'.
“What I did was not a martyrdom in the Gender Culture War,” she wrote.
