Two young snowmobers from Pennsylvania have admitted that they brutally chased a red fox several times and rode a frozen lake.
A 17-year-old and a 20-year-old whose names were not released, came forward and confessed that they had harassed the animal on January 20 near the intersection of SR 501 and Locust Street in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County.
One of the suspects controlled a black snowmobile with yellow skis, black pants, a black-gray jacket and a silver metal helmet.
The other suspect drove a black and white snowmobile and wore fluorescent orange pants, a black jacket and a black helmet.
On images you can see how they both quickly rode behind the helpless animal and touched it with their vehicle while it kept trying to run away from the duo.
According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the corrupt act lasted about 30 minutes.
'The investigation by the state hunt overseer showed that the fox was chased through the field for more than 30 minutes by two people who controlled snowmobiles.
“The suspects have run the fox several times with their snowmobiles during the horrific incident,” said officials in a first explanation.

After both young adults had indicated themselves, the Pennsylvania Game Commission issued a statement in which she thanked people for creating consciousness about the situation.
'Thanks to the consciousness through shares on social media, reactions and general public indignation, the suspects involved in the incident felt sufficient pressure to turn to the authorities.
'Costs will be submitted and refund will be added to these costs. Thank you for a nature conservation hero and helps to protect the wild animals and resources of Pennsylvania by reporting these types of incidents, “said the Facebook message.
It is still unclear when and for which the duo will be charged.
Animal welfare officials still have to reveal whether the fox survived the attack and whether he was injured.
This is almost a year after animal welfare organizations have decided to take matters into their own hands by giving a reward of $ 20,000 for information that will lead to the condemnation of the hunter from Wyoming who paraded around a bar with a wolf.

The Center for a Humane Economy has offered a reward of $ 15,000 and the Wolves of the Rockies have inlaid $ 5,000 in an attempt to have Cody Roberts, 42, sued in April 2024 at the federal level.
Roberts parade with the young Wolf, who bears the name 'Theia', around Green River Bar in the Wyoming countryside, after he reportedly plowed the animal with a snowmobile, had closed the mouth of it and brought it to the bar before He killed it.
De Jager was fined $ 250 for his actions, but he was not convicted because it is legal according to the Wyoming law to kill wolves in what the 'predator zone' is called, where an endless amount of wolves can be hunted and killed.
Governor Mark Gordon and director Brian Nesvik also publicly condemned the torture of the animal.
'Cruelty against any game is absolutely unacceptable. This is not the way someone should treat any animal, “said Gordon, while Nesvik called the capture and torture of the wild animal” disgusting. ”
