Patrick Mahomes put his family first and celebrated the Super Bowl reaching on Sunday evening with his loved ones – just a few days after his grandfather moved to a hospice.
It has been a few difficult days for the Mahomes family, in which the news about the health of his mother's side grandfather arrived only a few days before the chiefs fought with the Bills for a place in the Super Bowl.
After the competition – and after the Chiefs had sealed the progress to New Orleans next month – Mahomes quickly came to the field with his family.
At an emotional family moment, the quarterback posed with his mother Randi, wife Brittany – only a few days after she gave birth to their third child – father Patrick Snr, brother Jackson and half -sister Mia.

Mahomes' mother, Randi, announced the news on social media on Friday and shared a message on her Instagram story: “My father is in a hospice and I have no words for words.”
She repeatedly spoke on social media about her father, Randy, and his poor health, but has never revealed exactly what the problem is. Randy was 78 years old on January 6.
A few weeks ago, Randi Mahomes had also asked for her father on Instagram, and in September she shared a photo on which she saw Patrick and the Chiefs play from her father's hospital bed.

“Prayer fighters, please pray for my father,” she wrote on September 13 when the Chiefs played against the Los Angeles Chargers. “He is in the hospital and it is not going well.”
She also shared a photo of her father who came out of the hospital on Thanksgiving and said she thought it was great to celebrate with him.
