A woman says she was banned from Tesco after she refused to use self -keck machines.

Sue Crossley, 67, said she was forbidden after she asked the staff to serve her on a traditional to a Tesco Express in Jubilee Street, Brighton.

Mrs Crossley, Van Hove, said she has problems with the self -service checkouts and prefers cash registers with the staff.

“I don't like self -checkouts,” she said.

“Sometimes I want to pay with cash and they all take a card.”

She said that Tesco forbade her after a confrontation with the staff.

Mrs Crossley said that the staff was 'not willing' to serve her for manned cash register and claimed that the staff was file when she asked them to serve her.

She said: 'It has happened to me often.

“They say they are friendly and helpful and they will help you with the manned to.

'When I asked someone to come and serve, they threw goods and boxes around.

“They were so rude to me; I was not very nice to them.

“It was all an escalation of asking to use the manned Till.”

Mrs Crossley said she was banned from the store two years ago after the incident, but is still strong in her uprising of self -needs.

She is still a regular visitor to the Tesco Express near her favorite public library in Brighton.

She added: 'I'm still going in there, but I sneak around.

Tesco was unable to investigate SUE's claims, although stated that every abused, violent or threatening behavior is unacceptable. '
