A fan of Philadelphia Eagles who poured out of a pole while celebrating the Super Bowl location of the team on Sunday evening, died of his injuries.
Temple University Student Tyler Sabapathy, 18, was placed on living after a brain injury through the horrorfall on 15th and market streets in the center of Philadelphia.
He was brought to the Jefferson hospital with 'critical injuries' before he died on Tuesday 28 January, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia.
Temple University announced on Tuesday evening that Sabapathy – a first -year student and from Toronto, Canada – died after the tragic incident.
The teenager was a student at the Temple's College of Public Health, where he was a main subject in physical exercise and sports science. He was also an aspiring turnster who won more than 120 medals in various regional and international competitions.

Temple University Chiefs offer resources for students and staff affected by the death of Sabapathy.
His tragic fall came on a chaotic evening in Philadelphia, where Mayhem broke out after the Eagles had hit the Washington commanders in the NFC champion match on Sunday.
One man was stabbed during a fight outside the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium of the Eagles and gunshots were fired in the city center, while hundreds of fans bumped with a riot police after they had taken to the streets to party the night.
Several people also remained injured when a car in a large crowd plowed to celebrate the victory over the commanders, who set up a super bowl showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.
The fall of Sabapathy came after the mayor of Philadelphia Cherelle Parker had begged fans in order not to climb poles, even though it became tradition after big victories.
“You don't want to be at a festive moment, you know, let a tragedy take place,” Parker warned before he encouraged supporters: “Please don't climb the posts.”
Images on social media also showed another fan who fell out of a light pole after trying to grab a flag that was torn, although he seemed to appear intact.
The spokesperson for the New Orleans Barry Fletcher police also gave this week a warning about climbing street street in next month's Super Bowl, and although he has failed to name Eagles supporters by name, he aimed his answer to a newspaper in Philadelphia .
