The public was warned not to approach a man who escaped from a NSW prison early on Wednesday morning.
David Johnson, 44, escaped from a minimal security correction facility in South Nowra, 173 km south of Sydney.
Johnson was last seen on the left road at around 7.45 am and the police appeal to information to help him find.
It is described as white, about 185 cm (6'1 “) long, with a medium build, brown hair, blue eyes and a saika style beard.
When he was last seen, he wore a black bomber jacket, hi-fish shirt and black track pants.
Everyone who sees Johnson is encouraged not to approach him, but to call 000 immediately.
