Smallville actor Tom Welling was arrested in connection with driving under the influence Monday in North California, which looked noticeably worse for wear in his mugshot.
Welling, 47, was taken into detention shortly after midnight in the parking lot of an arby restaurant in Yreka, California, TMZ reported Tuesday, referring to police files, because his alcohol content in the blood was measured on or above 0.08 percent.
Some users of social media responded to the appearance of Welling in the aftermath of the incident, while his mug shot circulated online after it was released by the authorities.
