Two ordinary stop oil monstrants have been charged after a West End game of the Tempest starring Sigourney Weaver was stopped by a demonstration.
Richard Weir, 60, Van Tyntemouth, North Tyneside and Hayley Walsh, 42, from Radcliffe have been to Trent charged with aggravated violation today, the Metropolis confirmed.
The retired plumber and the university teacher climbed the stage on the stage from the left side of the theater stage around 8 p.m. on Monday when Weaver delivered the 'Come Forden' line.
Weir and Walsh then unfolded an orange banner with the text 'More than 1.5 degrees is a worldwide shipwreck' in reference to an announcement that 2024 had seen this limit surpassed.
Experts have previously warned that breaking this limit could cause more extreme weather conditions, such as heat waves and drought.

After they had unveiled the banner, they then left a confetti cannon, before they announced: “We have to stop the show ladies and gentlemen, sorry.”
A video released by Just Stop Oil showed the demonstrators – while a few were welcomed – before the duo was brought out of the podium within a minute.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: 'The charges relate to an incident in Theater Royal in Drury Lane, WC2, where two to two hours of just stop oil protesters entered the stage area.
They will appear on Tuesday 25 February at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
