CNN has christened the new secretary Karoline Leavitt of the White House as a 'Spinmeister'.
The fact Checker Daniel Dale of the network accused Leavitt, 27, of running information about a break of federal subsidies and loans during her first press conference of the White House on Tuesday.
Leavitt was repeatedly asked about the freezing of the expenditures and said that social security, medicine and food vouchers would not be influenced. However, she was criticized because she did not say what would happen to non -profit programs such as meals on wheels.
“It is a classic spinmeister tactics that I said that I answered that if you didn't answer it and apparently cannot answer it immediately,” said Dale on CNN News Central.
'There is considerable uncertainty throughout the country among non -profit organizations of different species … So they cannot achieve direct individual payments directly from the federal government, but their lives […] are very dependent on the help that comes through an intermediary organization.
“And we still have no clarity about what happens to the financing that usually goes to those entities.”
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump withdrew his order to freeze trillions of dollars to federal subsidies because he revealed that millions of waste had been discovered in a harsh action against government projects.
Trump officials had argued that financing should be put on hold while they Ensured that all government spending is in accordance with executive orders signed last week by abolishing the dei agenda of the Biden administration.

But the order, issued on Tuesday, led to confusion, including Medicaid portals that were temporarily closed and auxiliary groups warned that lives were in danger, because critical financing for vaccines and other health problems were frozen.
Leavitt announced a stir for reporters from the White House in her long -awaited first briefing on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old who wrote history as the youngest press secretary in the country, scolded traditional media for 'trust loss' and said that millions of Americans instead are towards other points of sale for their news.
“We know for sure that there have been lies who have been pushed in the country by many Legacy Media about this president, about his family and we will not accept that,” she said. “We will call you if we feel that your report is wrong or there is wrong information about this white house.”
She announced that two seats would usually be reserved for the White House staff 'new media' chairs – and those people could ask the first questions.
Traditionally, the Wire Service, The Associated Press, gets the first question – while the Association of De Witte Huis correspondents dictates which points of sale get which seats in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room.

“From today, this chair at the front of the room, which is usually occupied by the staff of the press secretary, will be called the chair 'new media',” she said. “My team will assess the applications and give references to new media applicants who meet our criteria and meet the American secret service requirements to enter the White House complex.”
Leavitt also announced that the Trump 2.0 administration would restore the press passes of 440 whose fits fit by the BIDEN administration 'were wrongly withdrawn'.
“We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, influencers of social media and makers of content to request login details to cover this white house,” she said.
During the briefing, Leavitt called on reporters of different points of sale – including the AP, who received the third question, CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Peter Alexander of NBC, as well as the Correspondent Reagan Reese of the White House of the daily caller – who was in the back row – who was in the rear row – of the briefing space.
Early in the briefing she called on Brian Glenn, a reporter for the conservative outlet Real America's Voice, who is the boyfriend of the most important Trump Congressional Ally, rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
At the top she made something new – explained that the mysterious drones saw flying over New Jersey authorized to conduct 'research' and not a foreign threat.
She also showed off with photos of illegal immigrants who were deported and what earlier crimes the White House said they were committed.

Later asked about the deportation strategy of the Trump government, she said that every immigrant in the country was illegally a criminal.
“They all,” she said. 'Because they have violated the laws of our nation illegally and that is why they are criminals, insofar as this administration goes. I know that the last government did not see it that way, so it is a great culture shift in our nation to see someone who breaks our immigration laws like a criminal, but that is exactly what they are. '
“If they violate the laws of our nation, yes, they are criminals,” she repeated when they are pressed.
When it was the turn of the AP to address the new press secretary, the reporter stated the same issue of Leavitt that was given to earlier press secretaries: she would not promise not to lie against the American people.
'I connect to tell the truth of this stage every day. I connect to speak on behalf of the president of the United States. That's my job, “she replied. “And I will say that from this stage it is very easy to speak the truth when you have a president who has implemented policy that is hugely popular with the American people – and that is exactly what this administration does.”
