Regulator ofcom has said that it proposes to delete a second class deliveries on Saturday and reduce the service to be on an alternative weekdays, while also reducing the delivery goals of Royal Mail.
Natalie Black, the group director of Ofcom for networks and communication, said: 'The world has changed – we send a third of the letters that we were 20 years ago. We must reform the postal service to protect its future and ensure that it delivers for the entire VK.
“But we guarantee what the most important thing is for people – first -class post six days a week for the same price in the United Kingdom, and a price limit on second class stamps.”
