Body is found in river in hunt for missing sisters who were last seen in Aberdeen more than three weeks ago

A body has been found in the neighborhood where missing sisters Henrietta and Eliza Huszti disappeared in Aberdeen more than three weeks ago, detectives confirmed today.

Police Scotland set up a huge search after the 32-year-old brothers and sisters, who came from a set of triplets, were shown for the last time in the vicinity of the River Dee.

The police announced on Monday that 'extensive and detailed searches' from the river and the harbor were completed.

But the armed forces said that broader investigations to discover that the sisters were underway, including searches for coastal areas in the north and south of Aberdeen.

Previously, officers said that the two women had visited the bridge where they were last seen the day before their disappearance.

They were seen on Victoria Bridge around 2.50 am on January 6.

CCTV showed that the sisters spent five minutes on the footpath and Victoria Bridge, but nowhere dealt with someone else.

The phone was then disconnected from the network and has not been active since then, the police said.

The next day the personal belongings of the sisters were found in the flat and the Hospita reported her concerns to the police.

After a visit to the bridge on January 6, CCTV images showed that the sisters make their way through the city center, via the Union Square shopping center, back to their flat in the Charlotte Street area.

The police said there was nothing to indicate that they had left it again until they were seen at the Dee River shortly before they were last seen.

When they were last seen on January 7, they crossed the bridge and went straight on a footpath next to the river on the way to the Boat Club of Aberdeen.
