A huge fire broke out at a synagogue in Salford while fire engines run to the stage.
Huge plume of smoke was wavy from Satmar v'yoel Moshe Orthodox Synagogue in Northumberland Street.
The police confirmed that the fire started today at around 5 p.m. when six fire engines were called.
It is assumed that it could be an electric fire after the fire had started in offices on the top floor of the building, Manchester Evening News Report.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service told the publication: 'Firefighters who wear breathing equipment arrived quickly and use hose reels to control the fire, while the larger police of Manchester stares the road. Crews remain present. '
Witnesses said they believed that the building was on fire in a residential street for about 45 minutes.
