A man from Delaware who lost his figure skating son and wife at the catastrophic aircraft crash in Washington DC revealed that the horrifying moment that he realized was that something was wrong.

Child ice skater Sean Kay, 11, and his mother Julia Kay, 42, were on board the Fatal American Airlines flight that collided on Wednesday evening with an army Black Hawk.

Vitali Kay – the father of Sean and the husband of Julia – broke his silence after the complicated tragedy.

“The plane had to be at nine countries, and I called my wife and she didn't pick up,” Vitali told CBS heartbreaking.
