It comes after a brutal shoplifter was caught red -handed during an ambush in the police, before he was told: “You're in the knee.”
Diefing Derick Bell ran in the cooperative in Lower Marsh, Lambeth, Zuid-London, planning to steal as much as possible.
The greedy 36-year-old entered the store at 8.30 am with a gray hoody and a black jacket and began to release the store's meat cooler.
But little knew the villain knew that while he stacked the cuts of steak, the police were hiding in the back room, preparing for jumping.
Dramatic images, caught on camera worn through the body, conquered the moment that a with-police officer launched the room and accused the unsuspecting thief.
Inspector Darren Watson sprints through the aisle and grabs Bell while still trying to squeeze food out of the fridge.
“You're in the knee,” calls Watson, while he dumps the crooked with wide eyes, before he calls “Give me your hands” while he arrests Bell.
The Police Ambush, which took place on Monday, has now led Bell – one of Lambeth's most productive shoplifters to be imprisoned for eight weeks.

Inspector Watson, Van Lambeth's Neighborhood Policing Team, said: 'This is an excellent example of how the with a targeted approach uses to tackle the kind of insulting that is most important for Londoners.
'We know that shoplifting has a significant impact on companies and store staff. It often also feeds other crime and antisocial behavior.
“In Lambeth alone, our enforcement activity means that 11 out of 14 most productive shoplifters in the area are currently in prison and we will continue to take action against those who cause misery in our communities.”
The police carried out the intended Angel after various reports of theft from the store.
After assessing recent crime reports, officers arrived early and waited in the back office where they kept an eye on CCTV cameras.
Bell, who wore an orange axle, was seen at 8.30 am when he started stealing meat from the fridge, while another amazed customer watched in horror.
It was the second time that Bell had tried to steal from the store.
He was caught on CCTV only a few days earlier, on January 19, with the same clothes as he plundered the meat cooler.
On Tuesday he appeared at the Hof van Croydon Magistrates, where he pleaded guilty of two counts of shoplifting and was imprisoned.
