The NFL is said to go to Australia, with a 2026 competition between Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams who are held in Melbourne.
According to a report in the Herald Sun in Australia, Melbourne will organize three games in the season over several years.
The first would be between the Rams and Eagles and will be played in October 2026.
The report says it will be held in the MCG, a multifunctional stadium with 100,000 seats used for cricket and afl (Australian Rules Football).
The Eagles are in next week's Super Bowl in New Orleans against Kansas City Chiefs and lifted the trophy in 2018. In the meantime, the Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022.
This season the rams of the Eagles lost in the play-offs in a moving 28-22 division round match in the snow in Philadelphia.

The Eagles would be a particularly attractive team to bring the game to Australia, since they have the Australian Jordan Mailata in their selection.
The NFL said in a statement to DailyMail.com: 'Australia is an important market for the NFL worldwide and we are committed to grow the game at all levels on the entire continent.
“As we have shared before, we continue to explore the possibility of exploring a game on the market.”
The time difference could also work for NFL fans in the United States.
Philadelphia walks 16 hours behind Melbourne and LA 19 hours ago. An early Sunday afternoon Timeslot in Australia, for example, would catch a Saturday night in Philly and LA.
And the NFL was aggressive in trying to expand his overseas attraction. This season, regular seasonal competitions were held in London, Germany and Brazil – of which the latter also concerned the Eagles.
The report in Australia adds that teams will set up a week of NFL-related activities in the city on their way to Melbourne, including fan zones with areas around Melbourne that screening the game.
For now, the Eagles will focus on next week's Super Bowl against Travis Kelce and the Chiefs, who will enter the history books with a victory like the first team in the Super Bowl era that wins three straight titles.
The Eagles defeated the Rams 28-22 in the play-offs in January in Snowy Philadelphia
They defeated the Eagles in Arizona in 2023 to start that run, which means that this year's competition also gives Philadelphia a chance of revenge.
This time they have Saquon Barkley in their ranks, of which Chief's head coach Andy Reid said he is one of the best running backs ever to play the game.
In the meantime, the rams were able to rearrange a little during the low season.
Matthew Stafford, the Quarterback, is confronted with an uncertain future after he had hinted that he would retire after the loss outside the season for the Eagles.
It is also expected that broad recipient Cooper Kupp will leave the team.
