Now Friends of Emma Croft have revealed how he introduced her in a letter he left with his mother Lisa Green for the judgment of the jury.
As Wellings was convicted and imprisoned, it turned out that the police investigated accusations by the court that Croft and his mother, Lisa Green, had 'coached' him for his testimony to the Preston Crown Court.
After the trial, Croft agreed to 'resign from her job in a beauty salon in Blackpool after the owner found the controversy around her alleged involvement in the case, it was harmful.

Another former friend of Croft has told MailOnline that she was 'completely under the spell' of Wellings and 'in denial' about the nature of his personality.
“She has this fairytale look at him, but it has caused so much bad feeling in Blackpool,” said the friend.
“The owner of the salon where she worked has had enough of the bad publicity and threatening messages, so she asked Emma to resign and she agreed.”
In a Facebook message, the salon of the powder room announced earlier this month: 'Please read. With regard to recent reports in the media, we want to inform our customer that Emma Croft no longer works in the ladies' room.

Jury members heard how Wellings repeatedly led to hairdresser Kiena, hit her while she was pregnant with his child, and threatened to drown her in a bath, drill her teeth and look like Katie Piper 'by putting her with sour.
He also insisted on Mrs. Dawes to kill himself, stuck that “touching you like a man” and, on an occasion, her head under water forced and said, “Say goodbye to your baby.”
He was the first suspect to be tried before a jury was accused of the illegal murder of his partner after her suicide after domestic violence, but was not found guilty.
He turned around and blew a kiss to Croft when the verdict was read, while the sister of Mrs. Dawes broke out in tears.
Although he was released from manslaughter, Wellings was convicted of mistreatment and compulsory control for two years of violence and abuse.
In one incident only 11 days before the death of Mrs. Dawes, on July 11, 2022, he 'launched' her in a radiator with such a force that it broke the device off the wall, then hit a door in her face – knocked her away and Leaving her behind and left with her with blood flows out of her head.
She called the police at least five times domestic problems with Wellers. Although she has often triggered her abuse for officers – due to threats from her partner – she made a statement about the attack on 11 July.

Only 11 days before her suicide, Kiena sustained a horrible head wound after she was attacked by her partner (Mrs. Dawes is seen with blood over her face in an image of the police)
Mrs Dawes wrote in a suicide note: 'I was killed. Ryan Wellings killed me. He ruined all the strength I had left behind. I had dreams. I had a future at some point. That was taken to me. '
In the memorandum, she also shared her hope that the police would act 'faster' in cases if her and three police officers are now confronted with disciplinary procedure.
The prosecutor claimed that Wellings made use of the vulnerability of Mrs. Dawes – due to problems with her mental health – and repeatedly violent and offensive to her.
He also plung her, not able to keep work, secure 22 jobs and leave them behind and to get rid of her money while working two jobs. Wellings claimed £ 15,000 to Covid -Loingen during Lockdown he spent on hotels, £ 1,800 golf clubs and drugs.
This abuse was an 'important factor' in her decision to make her own life, said public prosecutors. She was later found dead on railways, near Garstang, Lancashire, after she had hit a train.
The Defense Team of Wellings insisted that the injuries had sustained Mrs. Dawes before her death had been as a result of his attempts to restrain her or had accidentally been inflicted.
They suggested that descriptions of the behavior of the landscape gardier by her had been inaccurately, had been untrue or exaggerated.
And they claimed that despite the relationship of the young mother with her partner was a 'recipe for disaster' – Wellings was not guilty of her suicide due to domestic violence.

Kiena wrote a suicide note and said: “Ryan Wellings killed me” before they left their nine -month -old daughter with a friend and her own life
Lawyer John Jones KC said that the suicide of Preston Crown Court Ms Dawes was not “to a significant extent” by his client.
He added that the 'party lifestyle' of the couple had been a 'recipe for disaster' and their 'fairytale -like' relationship was to end in turmoil because of the mood of Wellings, the mental health problems of Mrs. Dawes and their joint abuse of cocaine.
Kiena was diagnosed with an emotionally unstable personality disorder that resulted in increased impulsiveness, poor self -respect and problems in relationships, a condition that the court heard was exploited by Wellingen.
After the case, Harriet Wistrich, director of the Center for Women's Justice, said: “Coercive control is a tailor -made form of abuse that focuses on the vulnerabilities of a victim.
'In this case there seems to have been proof of' gas light 'in which Wellings used Kiena's former mental health to push her to the edge. Jury members need help to understand how a victim can get so imprisoned in an offensive relationship that they cannot see a way out.
'Many victims of domestic violence who take their own lives will already have existing vulnerabilities that are deliberately exploited by their abuser to exercise and cause damage. The legal system must hold perpetrators responsible for the full scope of their actions. '
MailOnline approached Wellings' mother Lisa Green, but she denied that her son was engaged to Emma Croft.
