A brutal drinker who came to a gas station next to the police, with an open bottle of wine on his front seat.
He stopped next to the police car to fill his car, but officers soon became suspicious.
Cameron Mayes, 23, was banned from the roads after the idiotic error on January 9.
Despite his vehicle smelled of cannabis and a half -consumed bottle, he decided to stop and get fuel next to two PCs.
The officers soon became suspicious when they smoke drugs and started chatting with Mayes.
The officers quickly saw the wine in a clear view of the passenger seat.
Mayes drove a white Ford Fiesta in Ely, Cambridgshire, when he visited the Ely BP filling station at about 10.30 pm.
Mayes, Van Headleys Lane, Witcham, Ely, admitted that he had drunk and agreed to perform a breath test along the road that he failed.

A later breath test at a police station gave a lecture of 49 micrograms of alcohol in 100 ml breath – about the legal limit of 35 micrograms.
Checks revealed that Mayes had also lost his license earlier after he had been banned for a year and three months in January 2022.
The 23-year-old argued guilty of driving on the first chance and on Cambridge Magistrates' Court on January 30 he received a fine of £ 200 and was disqualified to ride for three years.
PC James Lewis, who investigated Cambridgeshire Constabulary, said: 'Mayes was brutal and it is shocking to believe that he chose to pull in a police car in addition to uniformed officers, with an open bottle of wine for his car.
“He paid much more for the fuel than he realized.
“He was arrested as soon as we suspected it wasn't quite right.
'If he was not stopped when he was, the consequences could have been much worse.
'Fortunately, magistrates have now banned him from the roads of the province for three years.
