Two employees of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority have been arrested about leaked video from an American Airlines Passenger Jet who clashes with an army helicopter.
The aircraft, with 60 passengers and four crew members, approached the Reagan National Airport on Wednesday evening when it was hit by a Black Hawk Army helicopter who carried out a training flight.
Images of the extraordinary incident quickly went viral and created crazy conspiracy theories online.
That video was leaked to CNN by two employees at the airport, the authorities now say according to ABC.
The duo is accused of computer damage because they have made the non -authorized copy of Airports Authority Records.
The airspace of Washington DC is notoriously overloaded and fears are increasing that there was a tragedy on the horizon.
Former home transport and infrastructure chairman Peter Defazio said polico told that legislators had ignored warnings to add more routes to make travel easier for them.
“Especially every senator wants a non -stop flight from and where they live,” he said.

Sturding images of the crash on Wednesday evening raised questions about how it could have happened, since it was a relatively clear night and the plane was visible in the path of the helicopter.
The National Transportation Safety Board showed that preliminary data from the Black Hawk -Helikopter and passenger jet showed conflicting lectures on their heights at the time of the catastrophic collision.
Data from the flying recorder of the passenger jet showed his height as 325 feet, plus or at least 25 feet, when the crash happened on Wednesday evening. However, data in the control tower showed the Black Hawk helicopter at 200 feet at that time.
The discrepancy of 100 feet still has to be explained, but if the impact were to take place at 325ft, the crash would have taken place well for helicopters in the area.
Researchers hope to reconcile the height differences with data from the black box of the helicopter, which takes more time to pick up because the water was beaten after it was immersed in the Potomac River. They also said that they are planning to refine the tower data that can be less reliable.
“That is our job to find out,” said NTSB member Todd Inman, who was increasingly agitated with questions from reporters who were more information and clarity looking for the lectures during a news conference on Saturday evening.
