A mother whose baby boy Lucy Letby tried to kill, hit back on the 'disturbing' and 'disrespectful' attempts to free her last night.
The woman said after a panel of experts claimed that the convictions of the former neo-natal nurses were “one of the most important injustices of modern times.”
Letby's new legal team yesterday unveiled a report that claimed that all 14 babies who killed or damage her were the victims of poor medical care and died or collapsed for natural causes.
They have submitted an application to the Criminal Cases Review Commission, which investigates potential miscarriages of justice, in an attempt to destroy its convictions.
Retired Canadian Medic Dr Shoo Lee, who presented the findings of 14 international experts at a press conference of two hours, claimed that the panel understood the 'stress and fear' of the families involved and it was that their goal simply 'told the truth'.
But the mother of a baby boy who Letby, 35, was convicted of trying to kill, the press conference described as a 'publicity stunt'.
“We want to go back,” said the parent, who cannot be called for legal reasons.
'Every aspect of what they do is so disrespectful, it is very disturbing.

“They said that the parents want to know the truth, but we had the truth.
'We believe in the British legal system, we believe that the jury has made the right decision.
“We already have the truth and this panel of so -called experts do not speak for us.”
The mother claimed that she had previously emailed Tory Member of David Davis, who led the press conference, emailed to complain about his involvement, but he had 'ignored' her.
She accused him of 'abusing his parliamentary position' to insist on Letby's freedom.
“It's outrageous,” she said, adding that she had contacted the Member of Parliament after he said he would like to talk to one of the families, but he did not answer her message.
“I told him exactly who I was and he didn't respond.”
The mother added that the way Mr. Davis introduced Dr. Lee used the 'star of the show' and used songs to identify the children in the 'Just' case screamed.
“This is not a show, this is our real life,” she added.

Mr. Davis was contacted for comment.
Letby must after being guilty of killing seven babies after being guilty and tried to kill seven others, with two attempts at one of its victims, in the countess of the Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.
She has had applications twice to destroy her convictions rejected by the Court of Appeal.
But Letby has always maintained her innocence.
The mother said it was 'misleading' that the panel suggested yesterday that they had 'new evidence' that knew doubt about the convictions of Letby when such themes had already been extensively investigated during her ten -month trial and was rejected by the jury.

He added: 'We have received a provisional application with regard to the case of Mrs Letby and the work started with the assessment of the application. We expect that further submissions will be submitted to us. '
Mark McDonald, Letby's lawyer, said she followed developments from her prison chat at HMP Bronzefield and had 'hope' that she could eventually be released.
Last year she was interviewed in prison by police investigators, who continue to investigate her in connection with more murders and attacks during her five -year career.
The mother added that she had 'totally confidence' in Cheshire Constabulary, and added: “We have every confidence in what they did and their constant thorough research.”
A public investigation into how Letby was allowed to commit her crimes, must also report later this year.
